Cookies policy

Effective April 23, 2026

This page lists the cookies and similar local-storage items that TNAADO Labs sets on tnaado.com, what each one does, how long it stays on your device, and how to turn it off. The one-line version: we keep it to the minimum that lets the site function, and we ask before we set anything else.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a site saves on your device so subsequent requests can identify the same browser. Modern browsers also expose similar storage — localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB — and the rules we apply here cover all of those.

2. Categories we use

We split cookies into four categories: functional (required for the site to work), preferences (remember how you like the site configured), analytics (measurement of how the site performs), and security (defences against abuse). We do not set advertising, retargeting, or social-graph cookies.

3. What each cookie does

Functional

tnaado_session

Keeps you signed in across the studio once you have an account. Only set after you log in.
30 days

Security

tnaado_csrf

Holds a cross-site request forgery token so forms posted to our API are verifiable.
Session

Preferences

tnaado_theme

Remembers the light/dark preference you chose so the site does not flicker on reload.
1 year

Functional

tnaado_consent

Records whether you have answered the analytics-consent banner, so we do not ask again every page.
6 months

Analytics

tnaado_analytics

Anonymous page-view identifier for first-party analytics. Only set if you consent.
13 months

4. Consent

Functional and security cookies are set because the site would break without them. Preferences cookies are set when you use the feature that needs them. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them on the in-page banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing tnaado_consent in your browser or by emailing [email protected].

5. Turning cookies off

Every mainstream browser lets you block cookies globally or per site. If you block our functional cookies the site will still load but parts that need a session — sign-in, cart, saved settings — will not work. Browser help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all document the setting.

6. Third parties

When we embed a third party that sets its own cookies (for example, a video player on a blog post), we tell you before the embed loads and do not load it until you consent. We do not run silent third-party trackers.

7. Changes

If we add, remove, or change a cookie listed here, we update this page and adjust the consent banner so your saved choice covers only what is still in use.
